With my brother Paul, and I was reppin Stars with the hat despite no first round pick.

My brother Paul is a sports fan and likes to do sports fan things. He goes to the Minnesota Vikings Draft Party every year with his buddies. He asked me if I was interested in going to the NHL Draft with him in Los Angeles. I don’t say no much - and certainly not when I have a chance to spend time with my brother who is less than a year younger than I am. We grew up like twins and it’s fun to do these things. So I bought two regular old tickets off one of the sites and off we went.

It was also fun to see that the RalphCast Podcast the TV Show was well represented. I saw posts from our friend Edward Egros, Meghan Chayka worked the big ESPN show, and Savannah Huemoeller was there to cover it as well. These are regulars on the show. This week - Craig Button, TSN’s Director of Scouting will join to go over the Stars picks.

I didn’t hate it - is about the best thing I can say. Also, the NHL is trying to do things differently, and I’m here for it. And there were some really nice moments. Being in the Peacock Theater for a big awards event was also an experience.

I saw a few people I knew - or used to know - they looked - old. Ha.

If you watched it at home, I suspect you’ll have some of the same takes I have. There were - problems. And the show was slow.

What did they get right? And where can they go from here?
